"The village of Hodějice is an independent municipality of the Vyškov district. It is located 4 km east of Slavkov u Brna and currently has 980 inhabitants. Hodějice is located in the South Moravian Region and, in addition to Slavkov, borders the village of Heršpice on the south side and the village of Křižanovice on the east side. The Heršpický stream flowed through the village and Litava flows around the village on the northern side. The village is a member of the Ždánický les and Politaví association.
